When the push-pull switches are in the down position, the circuit acts like traditional Les Paul wiring. The custom switching circuits only work when the switch is pulled up to the "on" position, giving you the traditional controls plus the custom switching circuit.

VVC (Volume Voicing Circuit)
- Down: Saves more low end as you are using the Volume
- UP: Saves more High end as you are using the Volume

Requirements (must Read)
- This kit Requires a 4 conductor Pickup Lead
- VERY IMPORTANT: Gunstreet Pots require an 18-tooth "Coarse" knurled knob. If you are swapping from a CTS pot to a Gunstreet pot, new knobs will be required.
- Proper installation of the correct knobs is crucial to prevent damage. Applying more than 30 lbs of upward or downward force can damage the potentiometer, or shaft. Remember, never forcefully pull a stuck knob; instead, "walk it off." Learn how to properly install knobs here.
- If you are unsure which potentiometer to choose, please consider the following:
- Metric pots are best for import Les Paul models such as Epiphone or "Chibson," as well as flat-top Gibson models like the traditional Les Paul Special.
- Conversely,Long Shaft pots are ideal for traditional "curved-top" Gibsons where the wood is thicker. Please note that if you select Long Shaft pots, the pot mounting holes must be 3/8" in diameter.
