Bridge Volume Pickup install
Solder the White Wire to the Middle Lug on the Volume Pot
Solder the Black and Bare Wire to the casing of the of the Pot
Neck Volume Pickup install
Solder the White Wire to the Middle Lug on the Volume Pot
Solder the Black and Bare Wire to the casing of the of the Pot
Middle Volume Pickup install
Solder the White Wire to the Middle Lug on the Volume Pot
Solder the Black and Bare Wire to the casing of the of the Pot
Grounding the Harness
- Solder the Ground Wire Coming From your Guitars Bridge to the Casing of any Pots
How this harness works
This harness works like your normal sg wiring except that the middle pickup is wired to its own volume and is "always on" This style allows you to control any single or combination of pickups.
Treble Position:
Volume and Tone: With the Middle Pickup (Top Tone Knob) rolled all the way down, you can use the Bridge pickup as you normally would in a standard SG. As you roll the Volume back up you can achieve the cool pickup combo of the Bridge & Middle Pickups and even just the Middle by itself when rolling down the Bridge Volume control
Middle Position:
Volume and Tone: With the Middle Pickup (Top Tone Knob) rolled all the way down, you can use the Bridge & Neck pickup as you normally would in a standard SG controlling the volumes of either the Neck or Bridge pickups. Not Standard to a regular Sg is the tonemoved to the Bridge Tone. As you roll the Volume back up you can achieve the Sound 3 pickup guitars are know for.
Rhythm Position:
Volume and Tone: With theMiddle Pickup (Top Tone Knob) rolled all the way down, you can use the Neck pickup as you normally would in a standard SG. As you roll the Volume back up you can achieve the fuller pickup combo of the Middle & Neck Only and again even just the Middle by itself when rolling down the Neck Volume
