How to install

This instruction works for a 50s, Modern, Or Volume Bleed kits

STARTING WITH THE PICKUP GROUNDS

Solder Your all three Pickup's "grounds" also known as "-" on the diagram to the the casing on the Volume Pot. If you are using a cheap or Low wattage Soldering iron, we would suggest soldering each ground to its own unique spot, and waiting at least 30 Seconds inbetween each attempt.

Next, Solder the Bridge Pickup's "hot" also known as "+" on the diagram to the second left side switch lug

Solder Your Middle Pickup's "hot" also known as "+" on the diagram to the third left side lug on the switch

Next, Solder the Neck Pickup's "hot" also known as "+" on the diagram to the fourth Left side switch lug

Finishing the controls installation

Solder the "earthing ground" wire coming from your guitars tremelo to the casing of any pot. In this example the easiest spot was the Volume pot. If you have Shielded your cavity. Add a jumper wire from the Shielding itself to the wiring harness. Solder the wire to a pot casing just like how we did it with the tailpeice ground wire

Feed the Output wires of the kit through the cavity hole and into the output jack cavity

Output jack installation

It is very important that you pay close attention to the diagram on where each output wire is soldered. Failing to connect these wires in the correct location will cause nonstop hum when the instrument is plugged in.

Next, Solder the volumes White cloth wire to the "hot" output lug on the jack (See diagram for reference)

Solder the colored cloth wire to the ground sleeve lug

And thats it!

Test the controls before restringing the guitar by lightly taping the pickups with a metal object. If you have any questions of need any help Troubleshooting Click here
