This process is super simple. All you are doing is separating the Neck pickup's Finish wire (2) and the Neck cover ground (3). These are generally connected together by a jumper wire. So simply cutting this jumper wire will separate them. Start by cutting the jumper wire

Clean the flatwork between, trying to get rid of any metal that could touch something it shouldn't. Just be very careful not to damage the coil finish wire (2)

Now because we always have to ground the neck cover, we will add a wire to the cover tab (3) we recommend a different colored wire then the ones currently on the pickup as it will help make any future installs/repairs easier

Now you are ready to install the Neck pickup into any circuit you want!
